The Early Days at Microsoft: Lessons from Scaling

We were proud to host Blas Moros Sr., Gerard Baz, and Eugenio Beaufrand, learning from their experience and perspective on helping build one of the seminal companies of our generation – Microsoft. They shared how they found Microsoft in the mid-1980s, their various roles, some insights on the culture, how the company managed to scale to 160,000+ employees and become one of the powerhouses of our generation, and more. I thought it was really clear that they loved their time at Microsoft and the people they worked with, the challenge of growing and meeting the high standards of Bill Gates and others, and so much more.

You can find a recording of the call here. Unfortunately, the recording didn’t start until 10 minutes into the call, but it captured most of the nuggets of wisdom.
