Analogy

Faith is like a parachute. When you’re up in an airplane and ready to jump out, you have faith that the parachute will open and save you. You can’t see the parachute, but you trust that it’s there to catch you when you need it. Similarly, faith is the belief in something that you can’t necessarily see, but you trust that it will be there for you when you need it.
